Mothers of Men is not only significant to local film history here in the San Francisco Bay Area, but we have the opportunity NOW to return one of the few remaining women's suffrage films to the screen.
But we can't do it without your help! There is only one surviving copy of this film and it is on fragile nitrate stock. Our mission is to create a brand new, restored preservation negative and new screening copies so that the world can again see this important film, now and generations into the future.
